What I love about your photography is that is gives the mind something to chew on. It is fun, and sometimes quite difficult, to imagine the circumstances under which someone would abandon the structures you photograph, such as this magnificent building. From this picture it appears its owners simply vanished, leaving their, not quite humble, abode to rot in a remarkable state of seemingly frozen beauty and for the curious human mind to wonder..."Where did they go? What happened?" Your pictures not only capture the structures themselves but the very ghosts of the emotions which could have been resident there long ago. This room could have been the scene of the homeowners greatest triumph or darkest failure. It is amazing what one can "know" when one is left knowing very little at all. As a writer, MANY of your photos inspire me to put those tantalizingly vivid possibilities into words, though, as of yet, I have not done so. Lol Just thought I'd put in my two cents! xD
